I’M BACK! It’s been more than 1 month since my last post. I just finished everything at school and promised myself to update this at vacation. So here I am.
This is the last batch for the Old Manila pic series.
I do not own these pictures. Credits goes to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Libraries :)
Avenida Rizal before. Too many James Deans and Jackie O’s outfits walking around! xD That’s Otis and Good Earth at the back. Few of the department stores famous back then!

Ayala Avenue in Makati just looks awesome. I think somehow it still looks the same as now, just more modernized buildings. But way back then it’s more clean!

Fort Santiago is way much better before. Clean and green. Even foreigners come down here to check out. (And gotta admit, there are so many Jackie O’s back then e.g. the teacher but duh, it’s the 60′s. I’ll just stop rambling xD)

What did we do to our environment? We just made Mother Earth cry a river. I think the problem is we don’t have discipline to do a simple thing that we don’t know doing such thing can save our nature billion folds. Everyone was wearing slippers, clothes and most of all, there was no pollution back then. Manila is very clean and it might have been known all over the world. I hope these pictures served as an eye opener. And since election is very fast approaching, vote for the one who can bring back Manila to its finest, like in those pics. Vote wisely! :)
